Good friend, Big Geoff, from Newcastle, is one of the first film reviewers I met when I started writing reviews, since this time we have become good friends and regularly meet up to completely geek out over films, it is a funny conversation, we pretty much only talk about film. The knowledge when we are together is quite impressive, I know everything that is going on but can never remember names, I describe and Geoff knows who they are. It works well. But now the Big G is moving into food reviews – this was on my Facebook Wall this morning and I thought, “why not?”. So here is Big G’s first and impressive food review.

McDonald’s Big Tasty Burger – Review by Geoff Reid
It is neither big nor tasty. The End.”
As some history on the burger, and to stretch out this lengthy article to meet SEO prototcols the Big Tasty, or Big N Tasty as known in the US, is actually a burger designed to combat Hungry Jacks’ or Burger Kings’ Whopper. The Big Tasty configuration consists of a third-pound (150 g) beef patty, 5-inch sesame seed bun, square-cut lettuce, two tomato slices, sliced onions, three slices of Emmental cheese, and Big Tasty sauce (which has a smoke flavour).
